IECSC Orlando Breaks Attendance Records
A record-breaking number of participants attended the 2007 International Esthetics, Cosmetics and Spa Conference Orlando show held at the Orange County Convention Center in October in Florida. The show, which was presented by American Spa magazine, saw a 47 percent increase in attendance over last year. Attendees visited the booths of the top skincare, cosmetic, and wellness companies and sat in on classes from prominent educators, including a full-day conference from Bryan Durocher of Durocher Enterprises. The show featured the latest in aromatherapy, cosmetics, facial treatments, laser equipment, skincare products, massage products, medical spa equipment, and more. "With an increase in attendance and an expanded show floor, this was the most successful Orlando show yet," says Dana Lupton, group show director of IECSC. "More than 300 manufacturers and suppliers exhibited at the event, showcasing the latest trends, techniques, and products in the industry. The strength of this show is indicative of the continually expanding and evolving spa industry." The next IECSC show will take place on April 27–29, 2008 at the Jacob K. Javits Center (New York City). For information, visit www.iecsc.com.
