Drybar Opens Second NYC Location

Like most curly-haired girls, I enjoy a good blowout from time to time. But ever since I got bangs, blowouts have become more of a necessity than a luxury. Because of this, I was thrilled when I just received an invitation to attend the opening of the second NYC Drybar this Thursday. Located inside Le Parker Meridien (which makes it super convenient to pop into the Burger Joint after), the midtown Drybar offers the same services as its Flatiron sister. Starting at only $40, guests can choose from a menu of blowout options to help them look and feel amazingly beautiful.  (I'm obsessed with the Mai Tai, which gives me messy, beachy hair.) And because Drybar doesn't offer any other services except blowouts, it's a super-quick visit that yields stellar results.

For more info on what is going on in the salon world, keep your eyes open for our February issue, which features our Head to Toe hair and nail section.

In Philadelphia, there is a new blow-out bar (if you will) called Heads & Tails Beauty Boutique. They provide blow-outs and conditioning treatments as well as Brazilian waxes. That way they can get you gussied up from "your head to your tail."
