The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) is partnering with local organizations in Ukraine and adjacent countries to provide facial surgery resources and services through the Face to Face program. The Face to Face program is a humanitarian and educational surgical exchange program that is sponsored by the Educational and Research Foundation for the AAFPRS. Sixteen medical team members will travel to Ukraine for nine days in mid-September to two hospitals to assist those with facial injuries suffered because of the Russia/Ukraine conflict. AAFPRS president, Dr. Corey Maas, MD will also make the trip.
