Cosmetic Surgeon Introduces the Photoshop Facelift

Joseph Eviatar, M.D., a board-certified oculofacial plastic surgeon and cosmetic director of Chelsea Eye and Cosmetic Surgery Associates (New York City), has introduced the Photoshop Facelift, a non-invasive alternative to a traditional facelift which lifts, tweaks, and softens clients looks for photos and real life. The facelift utilizes a combination of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), which treats visible sun damage, including pigment spots, freckles, broken capillaries, and spider veins; and ultherapy, which enables surgeons to direct sound waves not on the surface of skin but deep under the skin to the same tissue addressed in surgery. This gently heats the tissue to lift and tighten loose skin without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin. According to Eviatar, the service is ideal for clients under 60 with mild jowling and drooping, as well as those with sun-damaged skin who want to look younger naturally. “People generally are not looking to have major surgery, just to look good online,” he says. “They are looking for non-surgical ways to look and feel better about themselves with little to no downtime.”
