New Volume-Enhancing Technique Receives Patent Approval
The InjectAbility Insitute was recently granted U.S. method patent approval for its ArqueDerma Artistic Restoration Lift technique, which restores facial volume loss caused by aging using dermal fillers like Juvederm, Perlane, and Restylane to redirect sagging skin toward hollows that have formed, anchoring it in place while newly created collagen multiplies to stabilize the results. "Before ArqueDerma, many of my patients thought their only option for lifting sagging skin was a facelift," says Leslie Fletcher, RN, MEP-C, and creator of the ArqueDerma Lift. "They'd come in, lift parts of their face up in the mirror, and say, 'This is what I want, I think I need fillers.' The truth is that many of them had enough facial volume. It was just in the wrong place, which is what inspired me to create this technique. That way, they end up looking like themselves, only better, not an overstuffed version of themselves."
