Pigment Gel Pro was tested on 48 female participants between the ages of 18 and 86 with Fitzpatrick types I-VI in a clinical study that evaluated the product's effects on the skin when applied twice daily over 16 weeks. After four weeks 74 percent of participants saw a reduction in discoloration. After 16 weeks 85 percent of participants saw a reduction in the intensity of a dark spot; 70 percent of participants saw a reduction in the size of a dark spot; 70 percent of people saw an improvement in overall facial discoloration; and 100 percent of participants saw an improvement in facial brightness
