Bioelements Introduces Inaugural Entrepreneur Award

In honor of Barbara Salomone, founder of Bioelements, and her passion for helping estheticians build their careers, the skincare brand has announced a new initiative: the Esthetics Entrepreneur Award. The honor will be given annually to three up-and-coming estheticians who are pursuing professional skincare entrepreneurship. Salomone herself began her entrepreneurial journey in 1978 as one of the first-ever licensed estheticians in the U.S.

For 2020, the award aims to uplift Black female estheticians, who face significant barriers throughout the course of their careers due to a multitude of factors, such as racial and gender wealth gaps, negative biases, and a lack of access to networks. Therefore, this year’s Bioelements Esthetics Entrepreneur Award will go to three Black and female-identifying estheticians. Each recipient will receive several tools to help them jumpstart their esthetic spa businesses, including a Bioelements Opening Order Package, education, a Bioelements Bonus Box of support tools, a Spa Locator listing on Bioelements.com, social media exposure, and a personal mentor for six months.

Application period is August 3 - October 1, 2020. Applicants must be U.S. residents and 18 years of age or older. For more details and to apply, visit Bioelements.com/Award.
