Biologique Recherche Partners with Wellness for Cancer

Biologique Recherche has partnered with Wellness for Cancer, a non-profit organization, to create facial and body treatments specifically to benefit the needs of cancer patients, as well as those in remission.

“With the help of Wellness for Cancer, we are bringing to market something that should have been done a long time ago, bringing wellness and beauty to those who need it most and to those who cannot always afford it,” says Rupert Schmid, chairman of Biologique Recherche. “Through this partnership, we are adapting our methodology and personalized approach to globally offer spa benefits to those who have been touched by cancer.”

Through Wellness for Cancer, Biologique Recherche is adapting its methodology to serve those who have been affected a variety of different types of cancers by offering a selection of products and services for each client, depending on cancer type, therapy options, surgeries involved, and possible long term conditions. Together, the organizations are rolling out comprehensive training programs inclusive of repeatable and standardized processes to ensure the authenticity of the brand, that the services adhere to Biologique Recherche’s protocols, and that the training offers the ability for therapists to personalize each client treatment.

The partnership stemmed from a community outreach program Biologique Recherche has with its Paris flagship Ambassade de la Beauté and Rose Magazine, through which Biologique already provided facial and body treatments to its existing clients with cancer. This experience encouraged the skincare brand to take a closer look on how it can offer each guest facing cancer a number of new adapted treatments.

The services became available in the U.S. and France earlier this summer, with plans to expand to over 70 countries. The expansion will make Biologique Recherche the only company adapting its methodology to all types of cancer patients worldwide.
