Catch the Upcoming Solar Eclipse at The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch

The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, sits in the middle of the Rocky Mountains in Beaver Creek, CO, a nearly perfect spot to catch the rare total solar eclipse slated to happen Monday, August 21. It is also the only Ritz-Carlton property in the world slated to be in the path of the eclipse, and Bachelor Gulch is the only Ritz-Carlton property honoring the event with special events. Here's what the resort has got planned:

Through the spa, guests will be treated to the Solar Eclipse Massage. Inspired by the surrounding beauty of the spa and the region's natural ingredients, The Ritz-Carlton Spa will be offering guests 18 years of age and older a five-minute chair massage during the eclipse.

Along with the daily guided hike offered as part of the resort's Naturalist Program, the resort will be hosting a special activity before and during the time of the eclipse for guests to learn facts about the skies, local plants, and animals that live in Colorado during the summer months.

Once the eclipse has passed, in the evening guests will be treated to a guided sunset stroll around the grounds, only offered during the warmer summer months. During the winter, guests can engage in stargazing and snowshoeing, where an expert resident naturalist takes participants through an enlightening experience. Guests learn about celestial navigation, key stars locations, planets, and constellations.
