Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Collaborates with Technogym

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is expanding its wellness program, Fairmont Fit, through a new collaboration with Technogym. Technogym, leading producer of design and technology-driven fitness equipment and solutions, is offering its signature Wellness Ball Active Sitting – one of the brands newest exercise balls – as the newest Fairmont Fit amenity. Fairmont’s partnership with Technogym marks the first expansion of the Fairmont Fit program with the addition of a new brand. The Wellness Ball Active Sitting will join the likes of personalized Reebok workout apparel and footwear delivered directly to guest rooms for Fairmont President’s Club members.

Thanks to the concept, guests of Fairmont properties can experience a low-impact and highly effective work out from the comforts of their own room. Technogym’s Wellness Ball Active Sitting and exercise regimen are now available for request at select pilot hotels – Fairmont Pacific Rim (Vancouver, Canada), Fairmont Pittsburgh, Fairmont Copley Plaza (Boston), and Fairmont San Francisco. The ball will also be available for purchase in Fairmont Store locations and online.  "As a part of our continued commitment to inspiring health and wellness for our guests, we are excited to partner with global experts Technogym to bring another element of fitness to life in our hotels," says Daniel Poulin, director of spa and fitness for North and Central America of AccorHotels. "Technogym is a worldwide leader in exercise equipment and science, and we share a similarly innovative approach to wellbeing."

The collaboration brings more than just in-room fitness, though. In addition to the in-room offering, Fairmont is previewing a new wellness package for corporate meetings and groups, offering the option of replacing conventional chairs with Technogym’s Wellness Balls to help make meetings more productive and engaging. Further solidifying the relationship, Fairmont has also taken to incorporating products like Technogym’s Active sitting balls into its corporate offices and meetings spaces, which has proven to create a culture of wellness among employees. Guests can expect to see more Technogym Wellness Ball Active Sitting at select Fairmont Hotels & Resorts across North America starting early 2018.
