June 1 will now be known as national nail polish day. The new national holiday is being created by Essie, and celebrates the universal love of nail polish.
To celebrate the holiday, invite clients to share their manicures on social media. Encourage spa-goers to show off their favorite summer shades and personal manicure love stories by using the hashtag #essielove. Draw some more attention to your salon or spa by "regramming" your clients manis or by posting your favorite summer shades each day through out June.
From mid-May to mid-June, Essie is celebrating the holiday with a sweepstakes of prizes for fans to win. Participants will have the chance to win Essie nail polish themed bundles and on June 1, a grand prize winner will receive 100 Essie shades to celebrate national nail polish day.
