Green Spa Hosts Charity Wellness Event

Complexions Spa for Beauty & Wellness hosted its biannual Beauty and Wellness event at the American Cancer Society’s HopeClub. This past week, Complexions Spa for Beauty & Wellness, the nation’s first gold- LEED certified new construction spas in Albany, NY and Saratoga Springs, NY, hosted its biannual Beauty and Wellness event at the American Cancer Society’s HopeClub. The HopeClub offers support to cancer survivors and those touched by cancer. At the event, Complexions Spa professional stylists, estheticians, and massage therapists pampered guests by offering services, including a paraffin dip for hands, chair massages, herbal facials, and makeup touch-ups to 50 guests. “The Complexions team loves being able to give back to the community and our guests, who are dealing with the complexities of cancer, are able to enjoy services that pamper, relieve stress, promote better circulation, and encourage relaxation,” says owner Denise Dubois. “I’m proud to help the American Cancer Society and HopeClub host this biannual event.”

Dubois and her staff have been hosting the HopeClub’s Beauty and Wellness Event twice a year since 2013. They have also donated time and services to help create the Serenity Spa at the American Cancer Society’s HopeClub, which offers women and children assistance to better cope with the disease’s symptoms. The spa aims to help patients regain a better sense of wellbeing. “We are so excited to once again be working with Denise and her amazing team on bringing the Complexions Beauty and Wellness Event to HopeClub,” says Joni Richter, health systems manager of hospitals for the American Cancer Society. “Our survivors and caregivers feel pampered and inspired with each service the dedicated and talented staff give to them. After an evening of beauty and wellness, our members have shared that they leave feeling more beautiful, their hope renewed, and spirits lifted.”
