Green Spa Network (GSN) has added Adar Venyige, director of sales for VB Cosmetics, and Amber Marie Beard, vice president of sustainability for Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, to its board of directors. “Both Adar and Amber bring fresh enthusiasm for the pursuit of a sustainable future to the GSN board,” says Karen Short, president of the board of directors for GSN and senior vice president of sales and marketing for Universal Companies. “Adding direct experience in implementing sustainability initiatives in the product realm and corporate setting to our team supports GSN’s position as a thought leader in promoting sustainability through vitality.” Beard joins the GSN board as a veteran sustainability professional with 11 years of experience working globally through sustainable architecture, construction, development, real estate investment, private equity, and now, hospitality with the luxury hotel, resort, and spa brand Six Senses. Venyige’s previous experience includes a wide range of entrepreneurial endeavors—serving as the director of sales for the Holdup Suspender Company, director of sales for Capital Network Leasing Corporation, and the owner of Voila Gourmet Catering. He most recently entered the spa and wellness industry working with Dazzle Dry to bring a sustainable nail product to the market.
