Pangea Organics Partners with One Tree Planted for Earth Day

Pangea Organics, the organic and all-natural beauty product line, is working with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization that focuses on global reforestation, to celebrate Earth Day this year. Through the new partnership, Pangea Organics and One Tree Planted will plant trees in the Fourmile Canyon burn area, near Pangea Organics home city of Boulder, CO, to reforest 100 acres. Pangea Organics has purchased 20,000 native trees to re-plant in the area affected by the 2010 fire. The brand is hosting a full day of planting, followed by a campfire picnic by the creek, open to anyone who’d like to volunteer. “Our lofty initiative to reforest an entire mountain on Earth Day demonstrates our dedication to environmentalism and sustainability,” says Pangea Organics founder and CPO, Joshua Onysko. “The event itself, as well as our partnership with One Tree Planted, will allow us to connect with activists within our hometown of Colorado and beyond, in a greater effort to shed light on the importance of trees and overall sustainability on a national scale.”

The brand suggests that all volunteers come prepared with a water bottle, a hat, two or three reusable shopping bags, a shovel, hiking boots or work shoes, and garden gloves.
