Women in Wellness Conference Forum Will Address Femininity and Business

Can women be effective business leaders and also be feminine? Absolutely, according to the trio of experts who will be addressing this topic and more in a breakout session during American Spa’s Women in Wellness Leadership Conference.

Tara Grodjesk, president of Tara Spa Therapy, co-founder of the Green Spa Network, and co-creator of Women As Game Changers for Spa; and Carolyn Parrs and Devi Records, Women As Game Changers founders, will be hosting a forum discussion about the future of women’s leadership. This dynamic conversation and interactive discussion will delve into what is most relevant to women today in leadership roles and how they can create business solutions utilizing a feminine approach to enact change personally, professionally, and globally. Attendees of the session will share in a lively discussion that is monitored and anchored by thought leaders for the forum. “We will address key issues of our time and some of the challenges women face and the opportunities we can embrace to help shape the future of leadership,” says Parrs.

This is not the first time Grodjesk, Parrs, and Records have addressed the topic of female leadership. Most recently, they created a powerful video series on Women as Game Changers for American Spa Institute. They also recently unveiled a series of Deep Dive training sessions to further educate women business owners and leaders in the spa industry.

They are among the many powerful women who will be headlining the conference, which will be taking place March 6, 2018, in New York City. This thoughtfully curated day-long experience is designed to help female leaders and aspiring leaders in the wellness space develop their professional and personal goals while networking with their peers. It will include several keynotes and a variety of breakout sessions.

The day will also include a networking lunch where attendees will choose a table that will be discussing an issue that resonates. It will end with a networking cocktail party. Attendees will receive a gift bag, local hotel and spa discounts, and VIP passes to IECSC New York, which takes place the prior weekend. Post-event, they will have access to a private American Spa Institute eLearning course with videos, presentations, and more from the day.

American Spa’s Women in Wellness Leadership Conference ($350 per participant) will take place at Convene 117 W 46th Street in New York City. Space is limited, so registration will close when capacity is reached. Register at American Spa's Women in Wellness Leadership Conference.
