Spa Talk with Clara Macchiella Corradini

Meet Clara Macchiella Corradini, founder of Bioline Jatò.

How many years have you been involved in the spa/hospitality industry?

My professional path in the cosmetic sector began 35 years ago with a training school, that today has become an academy for the specialization in aesthetics, and it continued with the establishment of Bioline in 1979: a dream come true that over the years has continued to grow! From a small Italian family business, in fact, today Bioline is a strong and competitive reality, unique in its kind, based on tradition, territoriality and the culture of wellbeing.

What qualities do you look for in your spa staff?

The qualities that I look for in the people that work in my staff are without question professionalism and reliability, together with passion and enthusiasm: a combination of elements that for me are essential for those who wish to be successful in work…and also in life!

Where do you think the industry is heading?

The great attention dedicated to training, the research devoted to beauty, the continuous innovation and the use of advanced technologies for the development of safe, functional and effective cosmetics and the constant collaboration with professionals such as cosmetologists, dermatologists, physiotherapists and biologists, has represented for more than thirty years Bioline’s pledge and for me are the winning formulas in this sector.

What’s your go-to spa treatment?

The treatment I prefer in our beauty collection is Primaluce Exforadiance, based on Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA). It stimulates cell turnover making the skin brighter and smoother and it improves the complexion as well. Thanks to its rejuvenating power, I consider it to be the ideal base for obtaining excellent results with every type of treatment.

How would you sum up your personal philosophy?

I am tied to tradition and the values that tradition represents, and I believe that the simple things in life, such as spending quality time with those I love and respect, is a good starting point for being happy and finding ones equilibrium.

What’s the best advice you’ve received?

The best advice that I have ever received is to always be myself!
