As I continually speak about the continued convergence between wellness and spa, I was still pleasantly surprised to see such enthusiasm at my presentation last weekend in Las Vegas! Attendees included spa owners, skincare experts and medical aesthetic physicians seeking to find out how to incorporate nutritional and supplementation programs into their specialized services. Many of the attendees mentioned that it is their clients who are requesting more wellness-based programs to support their beauty regimens. Today’s spa needs to offer more than the traditional topical treatments that were the standard 10 years ago. A truly exciting time for the spa industry and I am grateful to witness and be a part of this paradigm shift!
