Cornelia Spa Returns to Manhattan

The Surrey Hotel is one my favorites in the city, so when I received news that the hotel recently teamed up with a new spa partner, I was excited to learn more. Turns out, Cornelia Spa, a luxurious retreat that got its start in Manhattan several years ago, is returning to the Big Apple and making a new home on the Upper East Side.

There, treatments are performed using Cornelia’s signature line, with highlights including:

  • The Reparative Caviar and Oxygen Quench—A two-part facial that leaves skin visibly firmer, hydrated, and radiant that concludes with a caviar amuse bouche and a flute of prosecco.
  • The Champagne and Pearl Sugar Glow—Mother of Pearl Body Polish is used to hydrate skin with age-defying actives that leave skin restored, moisturized, and touchable.
  • The Purist: A Dual Detoxification Treatment—This two-hour treatment includes an all-over body exfoliation using Cornelia’s Honey Citrus Polish is followed by a concentrated seaweed wrap and a detoxifying bath. The application of Cornelia’s lemon-mint firming crème is followed by a shot of Cornelia’s Super Food Elixir.

I was lucky enough to sample the Reparative Caviar and Oxygen Quench, which provided my skin with some much-needed hydration. And the caviar and prosecco finale could not have been more wonderful. Check out the October issue of American Spa for more on the spa and to discover why Cornelia and The Surrey appear to be the perfect new pair.
