Elements Spa Opens Exclusively to Residents on Manhattan's Upper East Side

In Manhattan, there is an unspoken, subtle rivalry between those living on Upper East Side and those on the Upper West Side. I am an UWS girl, and I love my neighborhood. I will even go as far to say that, for me, I couldn't see myself living anywhere east of Central Park. With one exception. If anything could change my mind, it would be if I had the opportunity (and salary) to move into 515 East 72nd St., the neighborhood's signature condominium building. In addition to one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes, most of which boast private balconies, as well as 45 luxury homes with larger floor plans and East River views on the upper floors, the building just unveiled 40,000 square feet of amenity space, including a children's playroom, a private park, and Elements Spa, where I had the pleasure of receiving a treatment earlier this week. Available only to residents and their guests, the spa  incorporates June Jacobs products in its services, including facials, massages, and hydrotherapy. There is also a manicure/pedicure room. It is a convenient way for residents to relax and rejuvenate without ever having to leave their building. But with apartments ranging in price from $730,000 to $1,620,000, it looks like I'm going to have to stay put roughing in on the Upper West Side in my spa-less apartment building for right now.
