Experiencing a Wealth of Wellness Options on St. Lucia

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to take part in the inaugural Soufriere Health and Wellness Retreat in St. Lucia. Slated to become an annual event, the four-day retreat involved lectures on feng shui, photography, wellness, and more with leading experts. In addition, I was able to participate in yoga classes and experience all that the lush island has to offer. While there, I visited several spas, including the Rainforest Spa at The Jalousie Plantation, Sugar Beach. While I'm not easily impressed, it didn't take me long to succumb to the spa's many charms. The treehouse treatment rooms were just the start of my infatuation. I also couldn't leave the island without climbing Gros Piton, one of St. Lucia's most popular attractions. Finding it more challenging than expected, I opted for a deep tissue massage afterward at The Body Holiday LeSport. Look for more on both these spas in an upcoming issue.
