I love creative packages that combine random things. For example, I've been known to host "Fondue and Taboo" night at my apartment, where my friends come over to eat fondue while playing boardgames. (Sidenote: If you've never played Taboo before, you are missing out.) That being said, you can now understand my excitement when I learned about the "Botox and Bullets" weekend getaway for girls being offered at Dry Hollow Ranch in Kerrville, TX. The two- or three-night all-inclusive weekend includes the instruction required for women to obtain their Texas Conceal Carry Handgun license taught by a state-licensed instructor. The live fire part of the course is held onsite at Dry Hollow's private shooting range. The ranch also partnered with Bella Luz Medical Spa to provide treatments on location throughout the weekend, including Botox, fillers, facials, massages, manicure, and pedicures. And, of course, gormet Texan food and drink will be provided during the stay. For $895 per person, this somewhat random package allows spa-goers to call their own shots. (Get it?)
