Guests Can Unwind and Unplug at The Westin Riverfront in Beaver Creek

Last winter, my friend and I took a ski vacation to Colorado, where we spent a few days staying at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain just outside of Vail. While we were there, we totally left the rest of the world behind and spent our days on the slopes, walking around the quaint village, eating at great restaurants, and generally just relaxing. I don't think we turned on a television or checked the internet once, and it was such a great feeling. Now, the hotel is encouraging all guests to unplug with the Breathe Deep: Vail Valley Digital Detox offer, which begins when guests surrender their cell phone at the front desk and lock their tablets and laptops in the in-room safe upon arrival. For $519 per night, the packages also includes:

  • Accommodations in a technology-free studio suite
  • Back Country Sunset 4x4 Tour for two with Vail Valley’s Lakota Guides, including wine and cheese
  • $300 credit to Spa Anjali
  • A copy of the book, “The Art of Doing Nothing”
  • Scrabble, a puzzle, a journal, a bubble bath, two luxurious robes, and a travel candle, all for the guest to enjoy both at the hotel and at home
  • Breakfast for two daily at the Lift Café
  • Unlimited group exercise classes at the Athletic Club, including Vinyasa Flow yoga, Anusara yoga, and Pilates Barre
  • Valet parking

With all this package has to offer, guests will be too busy enjoying themselves to even give the outside world a second thought.
