OPI’s Holland Collection Kicks Up the Creativity

Here at American Spa, we get pretty excited when we encounter inspired creativity. So when we received a press release about OPI’s Holland Collection, which will be released in Spring/Summer 2012, we fell in love with the new polish names. I’ve known for years that OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann is a wonder when it comes to clever polish names (I’m not Really a Waitress remains one of my favorite colors and titles). But I must say that she takes it up a notch with the amazing names of this colorful new collection. Higlights include:

  • A Roll in The Hague
  • Red Lights Ahead…Where?
  • Kiss Me on My Tulips
  • Pedal Faster Suzi!
  • Dutch ’Ya Just Love OPI?
  • Vampsterdam
  • Gouda Gouda Two Shoes
  • Did You ’ear About Van Gogh?
  • Wooden Shoe Like to Know?
  • I Have a Herring Problem
  • I Don’t Give a Rotterdam!
  • Thanks a WindMillion

According to Suzi, “Wearing these colors on fingers and toes will accessorize the season’s hottest trends. The varied palette of colors accentuates the looks that walked the runway, from colored pants and ladylike frocks to long, blousysleeved tops and dramatic patterns."

While OPI certainly hit its mark when it comes to highlighting the latest  trends, they also completely cracked me up with the names of this collection and filled the halls of American Spa with a lot of laughter this morning. Thanks a WindMillion OPI!
