I’m always intrigued when a spa significantly updates it menu, so when I heard that The Peninsula Spa New York was teaming up with Biologique Recherche to debut a series of new facials, I was excited to learn more. The facial program includes five different treatments, each personalized to treat guests’ specific skincare needs. Many of the treatments utilize the Remodeling Face Machine, which combines electrical currents with Biologique Recherche’s specially formulated products to lift and re-sculpt the face. I felt lucky to test drive one of the new facials, and I was even luckier, because my treatment was performed by the company’s own Philippe Allouche. According to Nadine Shelf, general manager of The Peninsula Spa New York, “partnering with Biologique Recherche enables The Peninsula Spa to provide our guests with a truly customized facial experience that is luxurious, yet still highly clinical and results-oriented. The affinity between our talented estheticians and Biologique Recherche’s outstanding techniques and products showcases a truly unique spa experience.” After my facial, I must say that I looked and felt years younger, and certainly agree that the service was unique and results oriented.
