OK, so I am the first to admit this headline isn’t particularly spa-inspired. But animals make people happy, and happiness is an important aspect of wellness. And I’m a giant animal lover who believes in bringing pets to social events (see the photo of my own party animal, Winson, at a recent Halloween party). As such, I thought that the debut of the second season of Yappy Hour the Ulti-Mutt Dog Party at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel is newsworthy in my book.
Taking place Thursdays this summer—May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2, and September 6—from 5 to 8 p.m. on The Dana Lawn, this monthly cocktail party for canines and their companions is a fabulous and fun offering. Pooches enjoy complimentary hand-made dog biscuits and refreshing libations, thanks to bacon, chicken, cheese, beef, and liver flavored water, while their companions can purchase burgers, brews and wines. All proceeds support the Laguna Beach Animal Shelter.
While it may be slightly difficult to host a pet-themed event in the spa, this idea of bringing the community together for good is a great one and an excellent way to spread the word about your spa.
