Sisley Spa Offers a French Twist at The Carlyle

The Sisley Spa at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel (New York City) proves Paris is always a good idea, even in the middle of Manhattan. The first full-service Sisley-Paris Spa in North America has replaced Sense, A Rosewood Spa, and features the brand’s products and renowned French skincare techniques. “We wanted our first North American Sisley Spa to launch in a timeless hotel known for classic and sophisticated elegance, mirroring the Sisley brand essence,” says James Maki, president of Sisley North America. “The intimate setting is truly a haven where guests can completely unwind while enjoying the most luxurious and highly effective skincare and body treatments from our expert team of Sisley-trained estheticians.” Though the glamorous decor in the 4,000-square-foot space remains unchanged, the spa has introduced a new program of phyto-cosmetology treatments utilizing the power of aromatherapy, plant extract-based products, and ancient facial massage rituals. For example, The Phyto-Aromatic Sisley Facial ($300, 80 minutes) offers a comprehensive treatment to restore youthful skin. Still on the menu are massages, waxing services, and a selection of Intraceuticals oxygen facials. Before and after services, guests can browse the Yves Durif Salon boutique, featuring Sisley makeup, perfume, artisan jewelry, accessories from local designers, and exclusive items from designers like Chanel and Hermès. Says Angela Portella, vice president of operations for Trilogy Spa Holdings, which operates the spa, “Fitting the varied needs of guests from around the world, The Sisley Spa combines the elements of ultimate relaxation with
unparalleled post-treatment results.”
