It’s been a very busy few weeks of events, meetings, and the always-looming deadlines. In the midst of all that one event stood out to me. The launch of Fango Essenziali, a line of mud masks and sheet masks from Borghese, was hosted at the sweet spot Sugar Factory. Though sugary treats are usually not recommended for healthy skin, the cocktails served at the event all incorporated ingredients inspired by the new skincare line. Each mask comes in two different formulas, mud and sheets, and all are created to Moisturize, Purify, Calm, or Energize the skin and overall give clients wow skin in five minutes.
Energize: Awaken the senses with this tequila and mango cocktail.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz tequila
- .5 oz mango simple syrup
- .5 oz Cointreau
- .75 oz lime juice
- .5 oz pineapple juice
- 2 dashes of Tabasco
Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker. Mix, pour, and enjoy.
Moisturize: Refresh and rehydrate with the thirst-quenching surge of acai berry.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Veev acai berry
- 1 oz Chartreuse Green
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 1 oz lime juice
- .5 oz basil juice
- dash of salt
Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker. Mix, pour, and enjoy.
Calm: Relax with this soothing, lavender-lemon cocktail.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz vodka
- .75 oz lavender simple syrup
- .25 blue Curacao
- .5 oz coconut cream
- .75 oz lemon juice
- dash of salt
Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker. Mix, pour, and enjoy.
Purify: Cleanse the soul with this pink grapefruit and peppercorn potion.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz vanilla rum
- 1 oz pink grapefruit juice
- .25 oz Aperol
- .75 oz simple syrup
- .25 oz lemon
- .25 oz lime juice
- dash of salt
Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker. Mix, pour, and enjoy. Garnish with cracked peppercorn.
