Spa Booker adds mass email capability, changes pricing model

When I spoke with Suzie Ellis at ISPA last year she told me that the Spa Booker pricing model was changing to a flat rate from variable/volume based. Two weeks ago they made the switch--a great move, in my opinion.

Spa Booker has also upgraded its marketing capabilities to include a mass e mail offering. There's an additional charge, but for anyone using a separate e mail company (Constant Contact, etc) there may be savings along with the convenience of having a continuously updated e mail database.

I asked Adam at the booth, "What happens if a spa wants to take their data and leave?" (Something I've heard many spa owners wonder aloud.) He told me that with 30 days' notice a spa's data can be extracted. I think Spa Booker should make this factoid part of their pitch. There's way too much anxiety about cloud solutions, and it would help allay that in potential customers.
