This week, SpaFinder hosted a "spa tasting" event at their Park Avenue offices for about 250 media and spa folks. The Clodagh-designed offices were the perfect setting for spa services, as each of the 7 participating spas converted an office into a spa suite and gave "taster" services, which were enjoyed by everyone along with the delicious hors d'oeuvres provided by Susan Lawrence catering, and bar provided by Emperor's Brand.
The participating spas were: Caudalie Vinotherapie Spa at The Plaza, Clarins Skin Spa, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, New York, Spa Merge at Hilton Grand Vacation Club, The Spa at The Surrey, The Spa at Trump SoHo, and YeloSpa.
Attendees enjoyed networking time and signed up for treatments which included Spa Merge's "Ultimate Merge Facial," The Spa at Mandarin Oriental's "Himalayan Salt, Sea & Chakra Therapy," and Caudalie's "Crushed Cabernet Scrub." I enjoyed a foot reflexology treatment, courtesy of Yelo Spa, who had brought one of their specially-designed chairs for the event. Once seated normally in the chair, it then reclines backwards so that your feet are perfectly positioned for a reflexology treatment, and having your knees bent while you recline is quite comfortable. What a great treat after a day on your feet!
