While handling stress is an ongoing battle, you may want to focus on it in the coming weeks. April is National Stress Awareness Month, the perfect time to promote a host of relaxation-inducing treatments and packages. The Wolcott Hotel (New York City), for instance, has teamed up with J'amie Day Spa, to offer guests the Relax in the City package ($77, normally priced at $90), which includes a mini facial, foot reflexology, a scalp and neck massage, an eyebrow waxing, and a lip waxing. While some might argue getting waxed isn't exactly relaxing, if it's on your clients' to-do lists, then it can certainly help them alleviate some unnecessary stress. The Mountain Horse Farm (Naples, NY) is offering guests a De-stress Aromatherapy Workshop (ranging from $410 to $540), which helps guests focus on how to de-stress in today's busy world. Designed for two, the workshop covers the basics of aromatherapy, safety and usage, dilution guidelines, resources, and recipes. There is even a do-it-yourself session in which participants make their own products to take home with them. Also included are two nights accomodation and a country breakfast for two. What stress-relieving promotions does your spa have planned?
