Wellness on the Ranch

Olive oil is a key addition to most of my meals and an excellent source of healthy fats. I haven't tried the oil-pulling trend, though it too boasts serious health benefits. It makes sense that the leading U.S. producer of certified organic extra virgin olive oil is focused on wellness and offers a bodycare line packed with this nutritious oil. For one special day (Jan. 24), McEvoy Ranch (Petaluma, CA) is expanding from olive oil production to welcome yoga and spa pros to the ranch for its Winter Wellness Event ($75 per person) and launch of its olive-oil-infused 80 Acres bodycare line. Amanda Giacomini, owner of Yoga Toes Studio (Point Reyes Station, CA) will lead a guided meditation experience and a customized cedarwood botanical facial steam using the 80 Acres line. Both will help guests restore, renew, and make way for new intentions. Also joining the festivities is Michael Stusser, owner of Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary (Freestone, CA), with his tips on cedarwood and the spa's famed Cedar Enzyme Bath. Visitors will also get to sample current wine varietals, organic fresh food, and explore the retail shop.
