Biofreeze, Massage Envy Spa, and Bon Vital' Launch Student Grant Program

Successful Hands Grant Program LogoThe Successful Hands Grant Program, launched through the collaborative efforts of Biofreeze, Massage Envy Spa, and Bon Vital', supports the professional massage therapy student and their schools, in which students can apply for one of five $1,000 grants. “We recognize that the health, vitality, and strength of any profession are a function of the people who make up that profession,” says Marshal Dahneke, president and CEO of Performance Health. “By supporting massage schools and their students, we know that we’re making an investment that benefits us all. We encourage all massage therapy students to participate in this program and wish them all the best of luck.” Each winner’s school will receive a $500 grant and a $500 product package, which can be used for program fees, books and supplies, licensing, association membership, or to purchase product and equipment. The application process consists of a complete essay of 200 words or less on “What does being a successful massage therapist mean to me?” Applications must be received by Oct. 15, and will be accepted online at www.successfulhandsgrants.com beginning June 1. “Since our inception, Massage Envy Spa has been dedicated and committed to massage therapy schools and students,” says CG Funk, vice president of industry relations and product development of Massage Envy Spa Franchising. “The work that students are learning is very important for the health and wellness of Americans across this country. We believe deeply in the healing power of touch and commend massage therapy students for choosing this life-changing career. Submit an application, inspire us with your hopes and aspirations, and you may be one of the lucky recipients of a Successful Hands grant.”
