Aveda Founder Passes Away at Age 72

Horst Rechelbacher, founder of Aveda and Intelligent Nutrients , has passed away at his Wisconsin home after battling with an illness at the age of 72. Rechelbacher, who was an Austrian immigrant, founded the Minneapolis-based company, Aveda, in 1978. He later opened a chain of Aveda Concept Salons to sell his products.
