Dermalogica Offers New Skincare Technology Class for Professionals

“Dermalogica with Professional Technology” workshop

Dermalogica, a leading professional skincare brand around the world, recently announced in January its new “Dermalogica with Professional Technology” workshop offered at The International Dermal Institute (IDI) locations. The class is available now and helps professional skin therapists become confident selecting and incorporating the best technology and electrical modalities for their clients. The growing popularity of medical and non-invasive skincare treatments and the technological advances can be overwhelming for professional skin therapists. It is more difficult for professionals to determine which devices are best for their skin center and their client’s needs. The class explains the science behind ultrasound, microcurrent, microdermabrasion, skin needling, and the increasingly popular LED treatments to give them a better understanding and a competitive advantage. The class will also cover key professional Dermalogica products to use with each modality and how to incorporate them into a skin treatment. “This electrifying workshop will help professional skin therapists make the critical connection from client to product to machine,” says Heather Hickman, senior director of U.S. education. “Students will have the opportunity to combine Dermalogica’s professional products with advanced technology to allow them to perform state-of-the-art treatments while also gaining substantial results on their clients skin. Skin therapists will leave this class with a full suite of technology protocols to confidently target and treat every skin condition.”

“Dermalogica with Professional Technology” is offered from 10 am to 5 pm and is free of charge to all Dermalogica accounts and its employees, but professional skin therapists may register by visiting www.education.dermalogica.com.
