EstheticsAmerica + Wellness Pavilion to Launch at ISSE Long Beach & ISSE Midwest 2011
PBA Meeting a Market Need for More Education and Training in a Growing Segment
As one of the fastest growing segments in the beauty industry, the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) will launch an all new pavilion dedicated to skin care and wellness products, education, business and hands-on training at the International Salon & Spa Expo (ISSE) Long Beach and Midwest shows. The EstheticsAmerica + Wellness pavilion will feature leading international skin-care lines, including Repêchage, Dermalogica, Martinni Beauty, and TEMPTU, along with emerging brands such as JB Cosmetics and SAIAN.
Along with complimentary wellness education, the new pavilion will feature CIDESCO USA education. Attendees will be able to learn directly from company founders and CIDESCO certified beauty professionals and have the opportunity to obtain a CIDESCO Diploma, the most prestigious qualification in the field of esthetics and beauty therapy. Continuing Education (CE) credits will also be available for licensed massage therapists.
Admission to the EstheticsAmerica + Wellness pavilion is included with ticket purchase to both ISSE shows. Attendees can purchase tickets for CIDESCO USA education at probeauty.org/isse. ISSE Long Beach will take place January 29 – 31, 2011, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California. ISSE Midwest will take place March 26 – 28, 2011, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois (Chicagoland area).
“I am thrilled that ISSE is launching EstheticsAmerica + Wellness and have created such a large and prominent space devoted to skin care, spa services, and most importantly, education and training. Congratulations to PBA for meeting a valuable industry demand!” Lydia Sarfati, Founder and CEO, Repêchage. “As the beauty industry continues to evolve, so does ISSE. By greatly enhancing the skin-care segment of our shows, ISSE truly becomes a must-attend event, encompassing the very best of the professional beauty industry,” states Eric Horn, Associate Executive Director – Business Development for the Professional Beauty Association.
While skin care, esthetics and makeup have always been a part of the ISSE model, with the EstheticsAmerica + Wellness pavilion, this segment of the beauty industry now has a much larger space on the show floor, designed to offer an optimal learning environment. This dedicated space will offer a more tranquil atmosphere so education and training can take place uninterrupted by other segments of the show.
