LEXINGTON, Ky. – Spas are uniquely equipped to help individuals manage the stress levels increasingly associated with the holidays, and this holiday season, spas offer opportunities to give gifts that keep on giving to everyone on your list.

According to the ISPA 2010 US Spa Industry Survey, 80 percent of spas have introduced special packages targeted at diverse client groups, including men, couples, teens (13 to 19 years of age), families, athletes and seniors. In addition, most spas have incorporated gift cards to their offerings, making it easy to give the gift of spa to everyone on your list.

“There is a spa experience for everyone,” said ISPA President Lynne McNees. “Gifts from spas provide a sense of well being, and will certainly be the best present anyone receives.”

Spa packages, products and gift cards make it easy to invest in someone’s health and well being, offering a variety of products and services to help anyone slow down amidst hectic lifestyles and adopt a lifestyle of wellness. In addition to massage treatments for couples, athletes, pregnant women and others, spas offer skin-care and salon services, and wellness programs that include everything from weight management and cooking classes to sleeping consultation and smoking cessation programs.
