It is an honor to be able to present such a well deserving award to someone as dedicated as Jim Root.” Root is a past chairman of ISPA with a 37-year career in spa and hospitality management. “First and foremost, I’ve always been a member that got engaged and who has stayed connected throughout my career,” says Root. “The community of ISPA is a very real connection in my life, so this recognition is especially gratifying.” The ISPA Dedicated Contributor Award is given every year to an active ISPA member who has contributed significantly to the growth of the association.
