This week, the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) approved Jindilli as a Continuing Education Approved Provider. With this approval, NCBTMB-licensed massage therapists can receive up to nine CE’s annually for completing a demonstration and practical application on Jindilli’s Showerless Lime Blossom Scrub and BoomaGlam Massage. “The Jindilli team is excited to be an advocate for the NCBTMB,” says Lynille Steffenhagen, director of training and product development for Jindilli and diplomat for the Confederation of International Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology (CIBTAC). “The organization does a phenomenal job maintaining high industry standards. With this recent announcement, massage therapists from Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas (multiple locations in Illinois) were the first to receive Jindilli training, completing a 2-hour, 2-CE training program for the Showerless Lime Blossom Scrub. “Jindilli is a valuable partner in our 12 day spa locations in the Chicagoland area,” says Cassandra Stratton, corporate massage director for Mario Tricoci. “Our therapists appreciate Jindilli ‘going the extra mile’ by securing NCBTMB continuing education credits. The Showerless Lime Blossom Scrub is ideal for our dry treatment rooms, and the BoomaGlam is a versatile massage tool that is totally unique. The two accredited classes include the Showerless Lime Blossom Scrub and the BoomaGlam Massage. The classes both involve demonstration, product knowledge, practical application, Q&A, and a quiz. The Showerless Lime Blossom Scrub is a four hour, four CE class that can be split into two two-hour sessions, while the BoomaGlam Massage is a five hour, five CE class that can be split into a three hour and a two hour sessions. “Jindilli and Mario Tricoci share the goal of creating one-of-a-kind spa experiences that truly deliver results,” says Jim Richards, CEO of Jindilli. “Becoming a NCBTMB Continuing Education Approved Provider is yet another initiative to become the best resource we can be to our partner spas.
