Mandarin Oriental Joins the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Mandarin Oriental, San FranciscoThe Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco is launching a series of special offers this October to benefit the American Cancer Society in their effort to save more lives from breast cancer. Throughout the month, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco and Brasserie S&P will offer a selection of delights, from spa treatments to pink afternoon tea, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the American Cancer Society. “Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco is delighted to support the American Cancer Society in its fight against breast cancer,” says general manager Donald Bowman. “Our hotel colleagues have consistently supported the Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of San Francisco walk every October and now we have the opportunity to incorporate it into our business. We are dedicated not only to wellness and creating memorable experiences, but also supporting organizations that positively impact our community.” Guests will be invited to relax and choose from an array of body treatments, facials, and nail care, where five percent of all treatment costs will be donated to the Society. “Today, one in every two women newly diagnosed with breast cancer reaches out to us for help and support,” says Janna Katz, director for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of San Francisco. “Because of supporters like the Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco, the American Cancer Society is able to do the most in every community to help women with breast cancer.”
