NATIONALLY SYNDICATED RADIO TALK SHOW HOST BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND AT MEDICAL

Derrick De Silva, M.D., host of the nationally syndicated radio talk show, 'Ask the Doctor,' will be a featured speaker at the Medical Spa Conference and Expo April 13-16, 2003 at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, GA. The charismatic radio talk show host reaches millions of people daily via the talk America Radio Network. 'Dr. Silva was so popular at our last conference in San Antonio, because, in addition to being a wealth of knowledge, he is so approachable and down to earth,' said Medical Spa Conference founder Marian Urban.

DeSilva's philosophy is that there is no one way to do things and you need an integrated approach. He likes bringing the allopathic and natural schools of medicine together. He is a practicing internist at the Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy, NJ, and on the teaching staff at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. De Silva is a strong supporter of the spa industry and a natural approach to medicine. 'He really believes that medical spas are the wave of the future,' says Urban, 'and is showing his commitment by speaking at our conferences.'

De Silva is the president of the American Nutraceutical Association, and has been instrumental in the formulation of over 100 different natural products. He has hosted medical segments on CNN and appeared as a guest on numerous national television programs, including ABC's NightLine.
