Transaction service provider PayPal has launched PayPal Here, a mobile payment solution and thumb-sized card reader that enables small businesses to accept payments on the go. Available on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets and ideal for spas looking to make payments easy for clients, the system accepts credit and debit cards at a 2.7 percent per swipe rate. With the app and hardware device, users can monitor sales activity, transfer funds, and track all transactions and reports. Integrated with the PayPal site, the app also supports multiple user access with different permissions; provides electronic receipts via email and text messaging; and supports various modes of printing, including AirPrint, ePrint, and Bluetooth printers. Additionally, PayPal debit card users earn one percent cash back for purchases.
