Primavera Life co-founder Ute Leube was named winner of the Visionary Leadership Award as part of Green Spa Network’s (GSN) 2013 Sustainability Awards, which celebrated overall leadership in environmental management, green techniques, and sustainability in the spa industry. Leube has been recognized by the GSN for her work with Primavera Life, which produces certified natural, plant-based skincare for the brands Primavera and Amala. Awarded to the foremost leaders pushing the edge of innovation, Leube was among 12 winners, chosen from categories including Innovative New Green Product, Balanced Guru; Green Building, Proximity Hotel; Leadership in Safe Cosmetics, Lisa Sykes from Universal Companies; Green Product Company of the Year, Naturopathica; Excellence in Sustainable Programs, Sundance Resort; EcoCulinary Healthy Leadership, Rancho La Puerta; Holistic Wellness Center, LifeSpa; Sustainable Day Spa of the Year, Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary; Sustainable Corporate Spa of the Year, Auberge Resorts; Sustainable Resort Spa of the Year, Rancho Valencia; Lifetime Sustainability, a tie between Deborah Szekely and Horst Rechelbacher.
