Spa E (Miami) will be celebrating its 15th anniversary this November. Voted ‘Best Spa in Miami Beach’ for five years in a row by the Chamber of Commerce, the spa offers a variety of services such as facial treatments, body treatments, hand and foot treatments, massage services, and waxing treatments.The spa first opened its doors on Lincoln Road in 2001 when owner Brenda Le Grange decided to relocate from Vail, CO, and bring her experience as a spa owner to the warmer climate of South Beach. Le Grange then teamed up with Lydia Sarfati and Repêchage to create the open-concept spa. With this airy layout, facials and services using Repêchage are performed in the open around a soothing fountain, which allows spa-going groups to interact with each other while they are getting pampered. “Spa E was the first time that I had ever tried the open forum concept,” says Le Grange. “It is really perfect for the fun and casual atmosphere of South Beach, and is what has helped make Spa E such a success.”
The spa also offers a ‘Ménage à Spa’ experience during which clients can enjoy multiple spa experiences performed simultaneously for the ultimate pampering package, which is perfect for the client who does not have time to spend a full day at the spa. “Brenda was the first one of my clients to truly take my concept of bringing spa treatments ‘out of the closet’ and putting it into practice,” says Sarfati. “Now 15 years later we know that this concept is tried and proven.” To celebrate the milestone, Spa E will offer fast $15 mini-services and 15 percent off any service for spa-goers who wish Spa E ‘Happy Birthday’ on Facebook or Twitter.
