Spa Nalai Introduces Yoga Program with Terri Bahr

The Spa Lounge at Park Hyatt New YorkSpa Nalai, Park Hyatt New York’s atelier spa, has partnered with Terri Bahr, a yoga instructor and fitness expert, to offer a physical wellness experiences through its new Shanta Yoga program. Shanta, which translates to “Serenity” in Sanskrit, speaks to the serenity of which Spa Nalai was named. Available throughout the month of October, the program was designed to promote holistic strength, flexibility, and healing. “As part of our continued efforts to offer our guests the best wellness practices and experiences, Spa Nalai has collaborated with renowned yoga and Pilates instructor Terri Bahr, to offer a well-thought menu of varied wellness experiences to our guests,” says spa director Amy Olthoff. “Hotel guests and residents have the option of pursuing a private yoga session with Bahr at one of Park Hyatt New York’s serene spaces or choose to partake in an intimate group class here in our luxurious spa.” Bahr is a certified Baptiste power vinyasa yoga teacher who has trained with renowned yogis, such as Baron Baptiste, Seane Corn, and Jonny Kest. The private yoga classes ($185, 60 minutes; $200, 90 minutes) and intimate group yoga sessions ($50 per person) are held at Park Hyatt New York’s three-story, state-of-the-art Fitness Center or Spa Living Room. Participants can also schedule a private yoga session ($200 per person, 60 minutes; $245 per person, 90 minutes) in their guest room or residence. Local guests can also partake the Shanta Yoga program with the addition of a 60-minute or 90-minute Spa Nalai treatment.
