Building on the success of its first-ever nationwide Deal Days event in March, SpaFinder today announced that the promotion would return with expanded benefits for participating spas from September 20 – 26, 2010.

Hundreds of spas across 46 states participated in the first Deal Days, which was held in March, making it the first truly nationwide spa event of its kind.  Thousands of spa-goers booked treatments during Deal Days, with many spas selling out appointments for the week before the event even started.  A SpaFinder survey of Deal Days customers found that over 90% said they would return to the spa they visited during Deal Days.

SpaFinder Fall Deal Days will offer greater value and flexibility through the introduction of the new “Deal Days 50/50 Program,” which will enable spas to offer either $50 treatments and/or 50% off a full-priced treatment. Additionally, treatment categories will expand beyond facials, massages, and beauty treatments to also include wellness, fitness, yoga, Pilates and salon services.

“Based on the overwhelming response to March Deal Days from both spas and customers, we are excited to expand this fall with greater benefits for participants and consumers alike,” said Sallie Fraenkel, chief operating officer of SpaFinder, Inc.  “Participating spas experienced first-hand how events like Deal Days can help them expand their reach, acquire new and loyal customers, and grow their business.”

Spas that participated in the first-ever Deal Days agreed that it was a success. “We were very pleased with the amount of new clients who responded, said Kaffee Keldie, owner, Kaffee's Garden Spa in West Palm Beach, FL. “We felt the respondents were more spa savvy and more likely to return. This March with Deal Days was the best our business has done in two years.”

Spafinder’s Fall Deal Days will also benefit from an expanded national and regional marketing campaign.  The March event received national media coverage in outlets such as USA Today, Self.com, RealSimple.com, ABC News.com and Smartmoney.com, as well as extensive local coverage in markets across the country, including a national radio tour with Joan Lunden.
