SPATEC to Debut in Asia

SPATEC, the appointment-based spa event from McLean Events that has found great success in North America and Europe over the past six years, will be launching in Asia at the Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort in Kota Kinabalu (Borneo, Malaysia) May 26-29.

"The climate in which we all operate dictates that return on investment is crucial with all monies allocated for business generation, requiring tangible results," says Noor Kassam, chairman of Mclean Events International. "The SPATEC meeting forums allows key decision makers to network and talk business in a way that no trade show ever can. Our forums guarantee bringing together quality key decision makers for two days of face-to-face meetings in five-star hotels away from the everyday pressures of the office. SPATEC ASIA will allow people to build long lasting relationships"

According to show organizers, SPATEC ASIA aims to help develop the spa industry and expand the market by facilitating constructive and valuable interaction between the sector's key decision makers and leading suppliers. It offers a formula of a two-day forum of face-to-face meetings between 50 Asian operators with more than 50 spa suppliers. Both buyers and suppliers choose who they would like to meet and are given a personal schedule of 20-minute meetings.

"Spa owners and operators tell us they want to see high-end, innovative products and this is precisely what we deliver at our SPATEC Events," says Berni Hawkins, consultant to Mclean Events International. "As well as providing a forum for debate on the key industry topics, the event aims to bring together the movers and shakers of the sector to facilitate innovative thinking, drive understanding and ultimately improve performance and progress of the sector."
