Suite Spa® Cart Debuts at 2011 ISPA Conference

The Suite Spa® cart, an all-purpose offering that allows spas, wellness center, hospitals and retail boutiques to create in-room services, made its debut at this year's ISPA conference. Born out of a need to create in-room spa services for luxury hotels, the Suite Spa is compact enough to fit into a hotel or hospital room and can be purchased independently or combined with turn-key products and protocols.

“The Suite Spa concept is timely because the footprint of the urban hotel spa is shrinking,” says Ryan Crabbe, Senior Director of Spa Operations and Development The Americas for Hilton Hotels & Resorts. “Hoteliers often face 'space poverty' challenges when programming spas and other outlets, so alternative solutions are always welcome.”

"Suite Spa’s ability to provide a complete menu of spa services in any environment makes the ROI very appealing,” says Eva Jensch, Principal of Spa Concepts International.

Suite Spa is based on years of 25 years of practical application and co-founder Vickie Bennett’s experience as a certified massage therapist, medical esthetician and multi-location spa owner.A Suite Spa cart is a fine furnishing that functions like a fully equipped treatment room. The streamlined cart is fully self-contained—everything folds up and slides together.

Features Include:

  • Massage table, facial streamer, nail table and hot cabbie
  • Stainless steel hardware and antibacterial fabric
  • State of the art sound system
  • Point of Sale functionality
  • Customized hardware and textiles

The cart allows spa therapists and nail techs to provide world class spa experiences literally anywhere. “Our partner hotels are seeing a 15-20% increase in revenues with the addition of Suite Spa.” says co-founder Victor Bennett. “A 300-room hotel can easily make an extra $250,000 in revenues from as few as four carts.” ISPA attendees also gravitated toward Suite Spa for medical facilities and hospitals looking to add spa services.

Suite Spa carts provide a seamless experience for the guest, without set up time or hassles.  “I’ve come around to the idea of in-room spa treatments, thanks to the Suite Spa cart. It cuts out the awkward prep time by putting everything therapists and estheticians need right at their fingertips.” says Heather Mikesell, Executive of American Spa Magazine. “This fully-loaded cart will even impress spa veterans with the scope of treatments now available in the privacy of their room, and help us continue to surprise guests with luxury in unexpected places,” says George Aquino, GM of the JW Marriott, Grand Rapids.

Suite Spa is a preferred vendor for Hyatt Corporation. In July, Suite Spa partnered with Hyatt 48LEX New York. Other partnerships include the Andaz, 5th Avenue New York; The Grand Hyatt, New York; The Park Hyatt, Washington D.C.; and Beacon Hill, a high-end retirement community. www.suitespa.net
