American Spa's 2013 Professional's Choice Awards Announced

Celebrating its the ninth year, American Spa announced the 2013 Professional's Choice Awards , the results of the magazine's 2013 readers' votes for their favorite spas, brands, equipment, and professionals. Approximately 4,000 decision-makers from destination spas, day spas, medical spas, and resort spas around the country cast their votes via a write-in web survey. The Global Spa & Wellness Summit (GSWS) announced the winners of its 2013 Student Challenge , a competition where students from academic institutions create spa and wellness concepts of the future. In this year’s challenge, c ontestants were asked to create a concept that encompassed authentic Indian spa culture.
