Client at Doral Spa Suing Massage Therapist For Sexual Assault

WSVN TV reports that a customer who was allegedly violated on the massage table at the Marriot-owned Doral Golf Resort and Spa plans on suing her massage therapist. The victim, a 29-year-old mother of two, said she was assaulted on Jan. 23. Police said David Munoz, 27, allegedly sexually assaulted her. According to the arrest report, 'The victim immediately told the defendant 'no' and 'stop' but did not remove his finger(s) until the victim put her hand on his chest and pushed him away.' The Claremont Hotel Club & Spa files for bankruptcy

The Claremont Hotel Club & Spa has filed bankrupcy. Tuesday's bankruptcy filing included four other luxury hotels around the country that the group CNL-AB seized from Morgan Stanley during a foreclosure auction last week. The Claremont and the other hotels will continue to operate during the bankruptcy. The 279-room Claremont was built in three phases between 1915 and 1988. It has hosted the likes of Louis Armstrong, but has more recently fallen on hard times as the recession has reduced luxury spending. A night at the hotel can cost more than $400. The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has proposed changes to the 'made with organic' standard that is used for personal care products. Specifically, the draft guidance addresses the use of non-organic ingredients in 'made with organic (specified ingredients or food groups)'' products, and the use of statements about the percentage of organic ingredients within the 'made with organic' labeling category.
