Mohegan Sun Debuts First of Two New Spas

Mandara Spa Earth Tower, Steiner Spa Resorts' 51st location, has debuted at Mohegan Sun. For now, the spa will serve as an outpost to the main 16,300-square-footSky Tower spa, which is slated to open later this year following a renovation and rebrand as a Mandara Spa. The seven-treatment-room, 2,800-square-foot Earth Tower spa, which is designed exclusively for massage and facial therapies, features a couples’ suite, six dual-use rooms, a waiting lounge, and a retail area.Designed by Kenneth ParkArchitects, the ground-level spa was created using materials and accessories, including brass, bronze, gold, polished chrome, silver, and stone, that form an energy zone that emanates tranquility and sets the tone for one of the 40 spa treatments and service enhancers performed using Bliss, Elemis, and Mandara Spa products.

“Guests will find this spa to be an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable experience, as it goes right along with the overall vibe in our newly opened Earth Tower hotel,” says Mohegan Sun general manager Ray Pineault. “With Mandara also embarking on the remodel of our larger spa and salon in Sky Tower, set for an opening by the end of 2017, Mohegan Sun will soon be home to a truly luxurious, modern, and all-encompassing spa experience.”
